PILOT PROJECT: REMOVAL OF MARINE LITTER FROM EUROPE'S FOUR REGIONAL SEAS
Toolkit: Derelict Fishing Gear Retrieval, Planning your projectYour local situation | Objectives | Project results | Project budget
The best way to begin a project is to prepare a project plan. This will record the steps of your project in a written document. This project plan will set out your project’s context, its objectives, activities and required human, financial and other resources. A project plan will help you to move your project forward by providing a timeline for your project, by clearly defining who will do what and by making sure you stay focused on the objectives of your project. It will also provide a clear, convincing justification for your project, and will be indispensable for communicating with all people and organisations who will participate in your project.
|A template for your project plan is available for download. This template can be modified according to the needs of your project. The sections in this Toolkit provide further detailed guidance on the project plan template.|
